Saint Michael the Archangel, loyal champion of God and His People. We turn to you with confidence and seek your powerful intercession. For the love of God, Who made you so glorious in grace and power, and for the love of the Mother of Jesus, the Queen of the Angels, be pleased to hear our prayer. You know the value of our souls in the eyes of God. May no stain of evil ever disfigure it beauty. Help us to conquer the evil spirit who tempts us. We desire to imitate your loyalty to God and Holy Mother Church and your great love for God and people. And since you are God’s messenger for the care of His people, I/we entrust to you these special intentions:

  • That the whole world will turn back to God
  • Healing on the sick especially COVID19, the medical community
  • That a cure would be found soon for the virus
  • For those who feel lonely, isolated and alone
  • That we will not give to fear

Lord, hear and grant our special intentions for this Novena that we bring before You.

Pray for us, St. Michael, and also for those we love. Protect us in all dangers of body and soul. Help us in our daily needs. Through your powerful intercession, may we live a holy life, die a happy death and reach Heaven where we may praise and love God with you forever. Amen.

Our Father … Hail Mary … Glory be …

Dear Parishioners of Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish,

As you will be aware, Masses and Penitential Services have been cancelled throughout the Diocese in order to safeguard and protect against the spread of Covid-19, however, churches around the Diocese will still be offering individual confessions during the Day of Confession which was announced for March 25, 2020

At IHMP, Fr. Peter will be available for the sacrament of reconciliation from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.  Confessions will take place in the church to allow for appropriate distancing while those who wait are asked to do so in the hall maintaining the standard safeguarding practices.

The church will also be open for prayer on Tuesday, March 24, from 10 a.m. - 12 p.m.

We will continue to update you on when the church will be opened for other prayer times.

“Take heart, it is I; do not be afraid.” (Mark 6:50)

St. Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the Devil.
May God rebuke him, we humbly pray,
and do thou,
O Prince of the heavenly hosts,
by the power of God,
thrust into hell Satan,
and all the evil spirits,
who prowl about the world
seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
